AtlasRTX A.I. Chatbot (UX Design)
I redesigned the AtlasRTX AI digital assistant, Maia. Maia lives on dozens of business webpages, including universities and nationwide homebuilders. For this project I worked closely with the engineering teams and employed tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Voiceflow, and relied on research into AI and conversational design best practices. You cans start exploring Maia here.

Animations
The engineers needed an extensive set of animations in order to understand how to build the chatbot from a UX perspective. Here are a few examples of those animations:
In the real-time experience the user is able to speak with the chatbot in order to better understand a product or offering. The product lives in the lower right hand corner of a webpage. The images below show the chatbot, in various stages of conversation and display a number of features:
Organization
Early drafts required a heavy amount of organization in order to best communicate with the various teams involved in the production of the assistant. The engineering team also asked for animations early on in the design. In order to do this I used Adobe XD to build a simple library of components to plug and play with different designs, as well as organized and annotated files explaining the designs and the animations:
