Shrinkwrap Zine (Design Writing + Graphic Design + Design Research)
Shrink-wrap is a zine dedicated to unwrapping the discussion on Industrial Design and its relatives. It aims to encourage literacy in the field of designed objects, from the perspective of the non-authority.
The theme of Volume I was relationships. I developed Shrink-wrap with a number of other designers and artists, asking them to write or design for the zine. I personally designed the entirety of the zine, including type, imagery, color, and so on. I also worked with printers on making and selling the zine. You can purchase the zine here. A large number of copies were sold.

The articles submitted focused on the theme of relationships in a design context, particularly Industrial Design. Topics such as gendered objects, fast fashion, and hyper-realistic rendering were included.

I wrote my own article on the dangers of rendering as a tool. Two other articles focused on the same topic. A sort of discussion was had between the three of us.

Overall the project was a moderate success financially, but mostly a success in bringing together designers and artists to discuss topics. My thanks goes out to those included in the zine.
